  1. out of 5 stars Great album, pretty good vinyl. Reviewed in the United States on August 30, (my particular favourites are Nightmare and City Of Evil). This album, however, harks back to one of my favourite periods in metal history, the eighties and early nineties, with ideas, arrangements, riffs and lyrics lifted, lock, stock and /5(1).
  2. The horn treatment is what locks me down for most of the album, my favorite the intro to "Shit Iz Real" (#3 on my all time "Shit Iz Real" list). I wish I could go back to 93 and trap the Beatminerz in a box with instructions to make an instrumental hip hop album.
  3. 2xLP housed in gatefold jackets with 20pg book-deep liner notes by Joe Nick Patoski. Originally released in the UK as the 10 song album _Five Symbols_ in and as _The Evil One_ in (with 5 songs replaced), this definitive CD gathers all 15 songs from the Stu Cook (Creedence Clearwater Revival) late produced sessions/5(70).

  5. JUDAS PRIEST Rocka Rolla (Rare original Japanese track vinyl LP on the Gull label pressed by King Records. The debut studio album by the British heavy metal band, originally released in produced by Rodger Bain, who had made a name for himself as the producer of Black Sabbath's first three albums, this ia also the only album to feature drummer John Hinch.
  6. Feb 24,  · Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin () Led Zeppelin’s eponymous debut featured a mix of original material and covers of blues songs, including a re-recording of the track “Dazed and Confused,” originally written and recorded by Jake Holmes, which was also covered by Jimmy Page’s old band the Yardbirds. Oddly enough, the iconic record was met with mixed reviews — Rolling Stone called.
  7. May 07,  · With an album impossible to locate in stores and without any radio play or promotion, Evil disappeared before it actually surfaced – much like Barry and his alter-ego Konrad. Fast forward 20+ years when the album was posted online as an obscure treasure creating a flurry of positive comments from lovers of privately released outsider strangeness/5(58).
  8. Sep 16,  · To be clear straight away, You Haunt Me is a 5 star album. Sir Sly have a beautiful, poetic lyricism and haunting musical style that has been tightly produced to near perfection. Each track on the album is brilliant to just sit back and relax to, with some real variety; as a whole, the record builds nicely from one song to the next and is just /5(57).
